FIRE: Sparking the Flames in Each Other, an art/resource zine by and for Southern lesbian, gay, bi, trans, same gender loving, and questioning youth and our allies.
This zine is the product of many months and many, many people. Created BY and FOR us — lesbian, gay, bi, trans, questioning, same gender lovin’, and queer folks and our fierce allies. The first of it’s kind in Georgia and the South, the zine is packed with facts, tips, stories, tools, resources, and art around sex, sexuality, dating and relationships, how to be an ally, safety, and so much more! We made moves throughout the summer of 2009, building relationships, exploring power and privilege and our dreams, passing out our own Let’s Talk About Sex! surveys, holding youth facilitated focus groups and collecting resources to bring this much needed resource to OUR communities. |
